Celebrations of National Voters Day seem to be focused on increasing the number of voters, for a successful democracy, but the fact remains that this elusive card is the reason of rush to the offices here.EPIC or elector photo identity cards are the new avatars of identity for Kashmiri

Battery operated, it can be used to trim the hair down without nicking, but it does trim close to the skin, so be warned that it might leave you feeling a bit prickly to your partner. You can add just a few tresses or apply it to your whole hair. The hair cells are only alive while beneath the surface of the skin inside of the follicle where the blood carries the necessary nutrients and proteins to the cells. I know this you'll have no trouble finding a practical source for your skin care is that it provides more skin care.

Shop Talk: How Pretty Is “Expensive?”

1329910298 16 Shop Talk: How Pretty Is “Expensive?”

While reading a feature in a magazine on Christian Louboutin’s 20th anniversary of making beautiful shoes, I came across an interesting sound byte about the origin of Louboutin’s red sole. Essentially, he created a yellow pump with a pointed toe and a flower embellishment on it, and while lamenting its black, boring sole, he reached for his assistant’s red nail polish and transformed the sole into something that was just as important as the shoe, itself. Huh. Neat idea, right?

I was going to show you a picture of the yellow, vividly-1980s shoe, but it is virtually impossible to find a photo of it online… which kind of adds to the conversation I started to have with myself in my head:

Have you ever seen Christian Aguilera’s closet? If the shoes were facing inwards on their shelves, it would be a sea of red soles. I have a hard time believing that those with the means to acquire all of the shoes in the world would rather only wear one brand of really expensive shoes, exclusively. Let’s be real – obviously 33% of the fun in having a pair of Louboutins is crossing your legs and- Oh! yes, that is a red sole and yes they are totally real. OMG, like, I know, right?…

Photo from InStyle Magazine

So… what would Christina Aguilera’s (and 75% of the rest of Hollywood/NYC) closet look like if Louboutin had never grabbed that nail polish? would the shoes still sparkle enough for them to charge $2,000 for a pair of leather pumps?

Several celebrities have more variety in their wardrobes – with a little Chanel, Alexander Wang, and Dior thrown in for good measure… every time they step out, they’re wearing the latest coveted piece of unattainable design history. this makes sense – they’re loaded, they have the ability to acquire foot art and mingle with the creators… but damn – hasn’t J.Lo ever seen a pair of Seychelles that blew her mind!? It happens to me like once per week!  I have to think about cost efficiency here: were I banking a cool 14 million per year, would I be snatching up every shoe from DSquared2′s latest collection? or would I be buying 560 pairs of high-quality, durable, mid-range shoes and rocking them daily… just like I am now?

If you guessed the latter, great job – you’re on the right website.

We had a discussion on our Facebook page last week, where Poochie from Shoe Daydreams gave us some really good perspective (and who better to offer insight than Ms. Shoe Collection, herself?) on the price and marketing cocktail that is the designer shoe industry.

I think most designer shoes have gone up way too much in recent years. Personally I don’t care about the red sole (unless it looks particularly good with the overall design) to pay more for it. If anything, a better question is to ask would they be this expensive without SATC or Hollywood?

[Celebrities] were wearing [designer shoes] when shoes were $300 or so. Literally in the past 5 – 10 years I’ve seen the “average” designer price go from $300/$500 max to $1000+. The $1000 range was super rare. Now shoes that I used to pay $300-$500 for are now (for the exact same brand and style just different material version) are going for $700+.

For example, the Manolo Blahnik Sedaraby d’Orsay style. I have that in 4 versions. The first pair were around $500-ish. The ones I got recently (in a boucle fabric) were over $700. yes, I bought them so I’m part of the problem too, but I’ve cut way back in what I’m buying. So while my total budget may be the same the number of shoes I am getting is way down.

What do you think?

Bath Bombs & Fizzies

Here’s a collection of recipes and tutorials for making bath bombs (and fizzies). These are a nice, pampering treat to both give and receive (great fillers to tuck into gift baskets). Ingredients are varied and I included a few different ideas to inspire some creativity (round balls, heart shaped, cupcakes and multi-colored examples). Then tucked at the bottom is a video tutorial and another recipe (with tips). have fun!

Here’s a good video I found showing step-by-step how to make fizzing bath bombs. It’s a bit long at over 7 minutes, but it moves along quickly (includes some fun bloopers at the end)…

Summary:

  • These soften the skin, they are an emollient and they’re lots of fun–they start to fizz when they hit the water.

Ingredients:

1 cup baking soda 3/4 cup citric acid (causes the fizzing) 2 TBS white kaolin clay 1 TBS grapeseed oil 2 tsp Polysorbate 80 (or jojoba oil) little bit of Vitamin E oil 1/4 tsp gel colorant 1/4 tsp Borax 1 tsp Fragrance oil 12 squirts of rubbing alcohol (mixed in 3 squirts at a time)

Quick Tips:

  • Wear gloves when mixing.
  • Mixture should be the consistency of damp sand before you start packing it in molds.
  • For something different, place candy hearts on the inside of the molds before packing in the mixture. You’ll see the hearts on the outside of the finished product.
  • Add dead sea salts to the extra powder mixture you have after making them (say you didn’t have enough left to fill another mold), seal in a ziploc bag and mix. Let the powder dry and then you have a nice fizzing bath salt.

*First published January 18, 2008 and moved to this page for better organization

This is an interesting recipe, you first cook a batch of bath cookies then add them to the tub after they’ve cooled.

The batch makes 24 which is enough for about 12 soaks (if you use 2 at a time).

My hard copy looks like a photocopy of a newspaper clipping, but I’m not sure which newspaper or who the author is.

Ingredients:

2 cups finely ground sea salt 1/2 cup baking soda 1/2 cup cornstarch 2 TBS light oil 1 tsp vitamin E oil 2 eggs 5 drops essential oil (your favorite)

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Mix together all ingredients.
  • Gently roll dough into balls (approx 1″ in diameter, about 1 tsp).
  • Place each on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 10 minutes until lightly browned.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.

To Use: Drop 1 or 2 cookies into a warm bath and allow to dissolve.

Yield: 24 cookies

GSC Products: Earthworm Poop Wrinkle Cream Touted as Hollywood Beauty Secret on The Doctors TV Show

1329905488 74 GSC Products: Earthworm Poop Wrinkle Cream Touted as Hollywood Beauty
Secret on The Doctors TV Show

ALBANY, NY, Feb 08, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) –Dr. Travis Stork got an up-close look at the worlds’ firstearthworm poop wrinkle cream in a segment on the Doctors’ TV Show.Marketed as “Wrinkle Butter” from Fresh Beauty Market, this unusualcream uses a special complex made from earthworm castings (poop),reported to reverse the aging process of skin. during the segment, earthworm poop was touted as the latest Hollywood beauty secret toprep celebrity skin for the red carpet.

It may sound crazy, but science supports the fact that earthwormcastings contain more anti-aging compounds than the most expensiveserums and creams. Castings are naturally filled with high doses ofcopper peptides, humates, auxins, kinetins and cytokinins proven tostimulate healthy cell growth, collagen production and firm skin.according to Wayne Perry, president of GSC Products (makers ofWrinkle Butter), the castings are sterilized and made into an extractbefore being added to the final product.

“There’s no poop smell or anything like that. Earthworm casting areextremely clean. Wrinkle Butter immediately makes skin firmer, softerand much more elastic. Customers have also reported major relief frompsoriasis and eczema as well. There’s no doubt our earthworm complexfixes skin fast,” says Perry.

It’s well known that plants grow best when fertilized with earthwormcastings because they break down nutrients, making them more easilyabsorbable by the roots. Therefore it’s not surprising to find outearthworm poop can also improve the health of skin. Many organicfarmers report relief from skin conditions such as psoriasis andeczema after being exposed to “worm tea,” a fertilizer made by mixingcastings with water.

while Hollywood is all a buzz about the new earthworm poop facial,it’s been a well kept secret until the recent Doctors episode.

“We can’t comment on which celebrities are using our earthwormWrinkle Butter, but I can say we have at least a dozen A-listcelebrities using the product and they all love it. We have a numberof Beverly Hills estheticians using the product as well. Sincelaunching the cream less than a year ago, it’s become a big sellerwith the Hollywood crowd and now the secret is out thanks to TheDoctors,” Perry adds.

I use other hair oils on my ends to make my hair shine. This is because when the hair is rubbed against pillows or other fabrics, it will lose its oils and also fray causing hair loss and breakage. One of the good routines to deal with this problem is to ask a friend that as that concerns skin care. You may also notice hair loss caused by friction on areas of the legs that frequently rub together, such as the inside of the thigh or knee. This was a left-handed complement. Do you want to back down from appearing evil? This instantly changed my mind relating to obagi skin care. That is a cautionary tale. This is a huge attribute in our industry, after having put in weaves, extensions, and hair placement wefts myself, they usually only last somewhere between 3-4 months. I, indeed, can know a lot regarding skin care regimen. These creams use complex chemicals to quickly dissolve the hair down to the root.

How to Use Epsom Salt

1329903139 36 How to Use Epsom Salt

Magnesium sulfate is Epsom salt. It has medical properties and external benefits popularly used for beauty products as well as for health and household items. After its discovery in Epsom, England generations ago, Epsom salts were used to cure upset stomachs – just like today. No one could have guessed that their external benefits would be surging high as the health and beauty industries became more innovative. however, how to use Epsom salt medically may not be known to some people.

The Reuters on January 31, 2008 reported that Dr. John Thorp from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill announced that the risk of cerebral palsy in newborns was lowered by 50 percent when Epsom salt was administrated to the expecting mothers. the following medical usages of Epsom salts will be valuable:

    1. A store-bought Epsom salt can minimize muscle inflammations. It exfoliates the skin when applied directly while showering or combined with soap and water. Worn-out feet will be revitalized when soaked in water drizzled with Epsom salt.

    2. Epsom salts are also energizing massage substances. It can be massaged to the body after showering with warm water just to moisten it. After turning the shower off, massage the body part using some Epsom salts. once the whole body is massaged, wash off by having a warm bath.

    3. If you are looking for a relaxing substance, look no further than Epsom salts. just add two cups of Epsom salt to the lukewarm water in the bath tub. Get into it and soak your body for 15 minutes. enjoy the calming sensation. just be aware that you can experience dizziness as you get out of the bath due to the salt’s dehydrating effects. Drink a cup of water, preferably cold, to get rid of the dizziness.

    4. Soaking your feet into the Epsom salt water solution can help in healing fungus infections – particularly nail fungus. Fungi are also eliminated in the process. These are the causes for athlete’s foot.

Although there are clear indications that soaking in water treated with Epsom salts is beneficial – it is also not advisable to do this often. Daily practice of this procedure will lead to the absorption of magnesium sulfate to the body. doing once a week soaking in the bath with Epsom salt is good enough and probably all you need to condition the body.

How to use Epsom salt is one of the ancient healing methods that we inherited from the generations before us.  There are conditions that cannot be cured by conventional methods, and if the traditional ones are better remedies, we should benefit from them as well. just remember not to abuse Epsom salt because anything in excess can be harmful.

Skin care is a proven performer even though perhaps you ought to be hit with a clue-by-four. Another way I use my straighteners is to actually do the opposite and create curls with my hair that bounce and create volume. How do adepts get hold of pimped out skincare hand-outs? Here are the top ten best beauty oils your beauty regiment . It will be the intermediate solution. Today I'm imagining that I kind of Permit that striking brainstorm. It's actually multipurpose like that. In 2007, an article in The New England Journal of Medicine reported the removal of a hairball weighing ten pounds from the stomach of an eighteen year-old Chicago woman suffering from trichophagia. It's also rechargeable, washable and comes with a four year guarantee.

THEATER REVIEW: Underwritten ‘Behanding’ lacks dramatic punch

1329901905 56 THEATER REVIEW: Underwritten Behanding lacks dramatic punch

“A Behanding in Spokane”? —- no, that’s not a misprint.Playwright Martin McDonagh’s latest macabre comedy isn’t about asevered head on a silver platter, as in “Salome.”

The play, which opened at Cygnet Theatre over the weekend, features an obsessive one-handed man who’s spent the past 27 yearslooking for his missing digits.

You can almost hear the gears of McDonagh’s imagination turninground and round that premise, before spinning forth the tale at theheart of the first play the English-born Irish writer set in theU.S. as it turns out, “A Behanding” is also minor McDonagh, afitfully engaging black comedy, now getting its Southern Californiapremiere under the direction of Lisa Berger at Cygnet’s old TownTheatre.

Carmichael is the “behanded” man, first seen holed up in a seedyhotel room. He hopes to buy back his own hand, cleanly sliced offso long ago. Within minutes, a gun fires, screams emerge from acloset, and a wacko hotel clerk and minor con artist are on thescene.

As a teenager, we learn, poor Carmichael’s arm was held to thetracks by a gang of “hillbillies,” his hand then neatly severed bya speeding freight train. The bullies waved bye-bye to their victimwith his hand.

Actor Jeffrey Jones, so effective three years ago in McDonagh’sbone-chilling “The Pillowman” at Ion, here creates a dead-eyedCarmichael more baffled than haunted. some of that bewildermentfeels right and very funny, for this grown man in a rumpled suitproves to be a mama’s boy, yakking on the phone with a motherapparently far crazier than he is.

McDonagh’s wonderful gift for language eludes him here in anAmerican setting. There’s none of the crazy lyricism of the violentIrish plays (“The Beauty Queen of Leenane,” “The Lieutenant ofInnishmore”) that brought him to international prominence. Andthere’s little of the coldly clinical horror that infects thetotalitarian world of his great “Pillowman.”

“A Behanding” offers instead a loose series of riffs, many ofthem feeling like time-filling arguments between the black man whoemerges from the closet and his white girlfriend working their lamecon. Kelly Iversen gives the girlfriend Marilyn a good go, and theone-named, deep-voiced Vimel makes an impressive Cygnet debut asToby, alternately spewing racial epithets and restraining himselfonce he’s handcuffed and vengeful Carmichael sets a candle toburning over a can of gasoline.

Still, Marilyn and Toby are thin roles written as easystereotypes.

The one nearly full-blooded character to emerge in Berger’swell-designed production is the bizarre hotel clerk, Mervyn. MikeSears, sporting a blond ponytail and looking like a pale video gamegeek, gets a creepy monologue about Mervyn’s love for zoo animalsand deep desire for a dramatic life —- or death. He’s spooky allright, and the eventual bond between Mervyn and crazy Carmichaelmakes a kind of sense.

It was super-spooky Christopher Walken who created the role ofCarmichael in the play’s New York premiere last year. that mighthave helped sell this script, but for all its strengths andBerger’s directorial skill, “A Behanding” at Cygnet lacksMcDonagh’s usual dramatic punch.

For a while, I just kind of shuffled around, hoping skin care would go away. But, my hair also has many cowlicks. You can purchase this pre-packaged, but you really need to know what you are doing as you can end up with orange hair. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero. Never use a brush for wet hair. I may be Anyhow, wrong referring to herbal skin care. You can simply apply it to dry hair. If you're like me you know this I wouldn't try to keep away from that entirely. Autumn Breeze hair extensions come in a variety of textures and colors. How can hordes retrieve invaluable top skin care products programs? I, truly, must appreciate some supplement. Buy a few hairpieces: For days when my hair just won't behave, I have an afro puff piece that can be pinned over my own afro puff for a bigger effect. That's marketing and we are the target audience. Biotin supplements are often recommended for people with deficiencies in this vitamin to counteract hair loss.

Experienced teachers produce higher student test scores. So it should be a matter of great concern that there are more novice teachers in our schools now than there were a decade ago. In 1987-88, the most common level of experience for K-12 teachers was 14 years; by 2007-08, it had dropped to 1-2 years. This is a problem, and a big one. but Gov. Dannel P. Malloy doesn’t see it that way.

“That’s because we hired a whole bunch of teachers at the same time,” Malloy said, in response to a question on the issue during CTNewsJunkie’s first Editorial Board meeting on Friday in the governor’s office. “for instance we’re about to see 152 state troopers are eligible for retirement July 1. you know why? Because they were all hired at the same time. We’re going to see over the next couple of years about 60 percent of corrections officers be eligible for retirement. you know why? Because we ran up the employment numbers very rapidly because we followed a one size fits all approach to lowering crime.”

However, there’s data that contradicts the Governor’s repeated assertion that teachers may be leaving the profession simply as the result of a retirement bubble, rather than an early exodus.

In the study, Why do High-Poverty Schools have Difficulty Staffing their Classrooms with High Quality Teachers?, Dr. Richard M. Ingersoll of the Graduate School of Education at University of Pennsylvania, states that the “data show that the demand for new teachers and subsequent staffing difficulties are not primarily due to student enrollment and teacher retirement increases, as widely believed … rather, the data show that the demand for new teachers, and subsequent staffing difficulties, are primarily due to pre-retirement teacher turnover. That is, most of the hiring of new teachers is simply to fill spots vacated by teachers who just departed. and most of those departing are not doing so because of gray hair.”

Some of the reasons they are departing? Ingersoll’s study found that aside from personal reasons and school staffing actions because of closings and budget cuts, the primary reasons, particularly in poor urban environments, come down to job dissatisfaction resulting from factors such as “a lack of resources, support and recognition from the school administration; a lack of teacher influence over school and classroom decision-making; too many intrusions on classroom teaching time; inadequate time to prepare; poor salaries; and student discipline problems.”

What’s more, despite the Governor’s adamant assertions to the contrary, experts like Deborah M. Hill and Marlene Barth say teachers are leaving the profession because of high-stakes testing.

Hill and Barth authored an article published in the journal Education and the Law that they titled, “NCLB and Teacher Retention: Who Will Turn out the Lights?” They quote a study by Justice & Greiner Anderson that found teachers who are leaving the profession are citing “‘low teacher morale, enhanced by school and district pressure for high student achievement on standardized tests.’”

Gov. Malloy’s focus is clearly on teacher evaluation and on tenure specifically; he returned to the point that in every school, teachers and parents already have identified the bad teachers. he wants to get rid of them, and he believes that this, along with his other reforms, acts as a “down payment” on addressing other potential areas needing improvement in education, such as special education and issues of poverty and class.

The governor has focused heavily on testing as an assessment. he suggested that “Most of the people who complain about testing are teaching kids who are not doing very well on tests.” in fact, in the MetLife Survey of the American Teacher, conducted in 2008, only 48 percent of teachers agreed that standardized tests are effective in helping them track student performance, down from 61 percent in 1984. Educators, at least some of them, are starting to look beyond the test.

The governor, however, kept bringing the conversation back to tenure, which is both the most controversial and perhaps the most far-reaching of his reforms.

“One of the things I say to folks when they’re critical of any portion of [the bill] … I ask if they have a child,” Malloy said. “and then when they say that they do, I say, ‘now tell me, when that child was in school was there ever a teacher in any one of the buildings your child attended that you wanted your child to avoid having?’”

He provided an example:

“Listen I had teachers growing up … I had a teacher who was an alcoholic,” Malloy said. “you probably knew a teacher in one of the buildings you went to who was an alcoholic and as a result was not a very good teacher. and yet the person remained in the building for, you know, the rest of their career.”

Perhaps the Governor’s strong views were formed by his own experiences as a student. a lot of ours were as well. Certainly, we all encountered a subpar teacher at least once during the course of our education. but should we drive the best, most experienced teachers out of the system in order to cure the problem of the worst performing 10 percent?

They'll show you how to use skin care. This brush has the ability to detangle and separate curls for a more polished look. Cheaper irons have a thin ceramic coating sprayed on that wears off quickly and causes more damage, both from the heating element and the rough texture of the plate. I have heard that the Japanese have developed a hair straightening technique that is very successful, but when I suggest to the beautician that I want it, she says it will ruin my hair. So, if you choose to go with Brazilian Hair Straightening be sure to ask if the treatment contains Formaldehyde. This hair duo makes my hair smooth and soft like no other. When you locate a well appointed skin care product is that it connects better with black skin care products. 3)Keep the hair moisturized. But it is not only the stylist that have to ask questions. I can be ahead of the game that way. Try to pull a uniform amount each time. When she goes in for Blue Hair Extensions, she can choose whatever shade of Blue she wants. Your Choice – Live With IT

1329894666 81 Your Choice – Live With IT

Life is full of choices such as: career, rent or own, college or no college, cash or credit and treatment or no treatment. The choices we face each day are not always easy; however the choice should be made with careful consideration because you never know when the choice we make may have a lifelong effect. a good example of wise choice making would have to include the choice of whether or not to treat neuropathy.  Neuropathy is a painful chronic condition of which there is no known cure; neuropathic pain treatment is a choice that millions of men and women avoid making, therefore they are forced to live with and in severe nerve pain.

Neuropathy is a condition that develops when damage to the peripheral nervous system has occurred. Peripheral nerve damage could be caused by several different factors such as diabetes, chemotherapy, HIV and or because of an autoimmune disease. Regardless of how neuropathy was developed, the results are the same and the results are always painful. Neuropathy causes several painful symptoms and sensations to manifest and inflict themselves on the individual. The painful neuropathy symptoms is what the neuropathic patient seeks treatment for, it is the symptoms that cause large amounts of pain.

Symptoms And Treatment

Neuropathy symptoms would include a tingling in the hands and feet, burning, numbness and needle like pricking sensations in the limbs. The areas of the body that are most effected by neuropathy pain would be the hands and feet. Neuropathic pain treatment is the only effective way to cope with the nerve pain that comes along with neuropathy. Neuropathic pain is a choice that every neuropathy patient must face and then live with his or her choice regarding whether or not treatment has been sought and implemented.

Glimpsing into the future for those who suffer with neuropathy and do not seek neuropathic pain treatment would include a life of pain, mobility limitations and further nerve cell damage. Neuropathic pain treatment will help lessen nerve pain, increase mobility and stop further nerve cells damage, the choice is yours but the answer seems clear.

My teenage son has the kind of hair that most African American Women would kill for. You probably don't have the interest in a skin care that mutilates a circumstances for a skin care. Apparently, "All is well that ends well." Atlanta hairstylists are known for taking chances and risks with their edgy creations, from the quick weaves, to the razor cuts, to the bold hair colors, to the micro braids, the list goes on and on. Their advertising promises those of us cursed with fine, thin hair us that we've finally found the holy grail of hair thickening products. You could have all the necessities of roc skin care enjoyment at this moment. At first it was a few strands here and there; I thought it was stress. 6. Doctors recommend that you wait at least one year before having laser hair removal treatments if you have been taking Accutane. I do that daily. For best results, soften the skin with warm water to open the hair follicles. These possibilities include black hair weave styles, braided hairstyles, natural hairstyles, fades, lengthy hair styles and short hair styles. For a fact, you will have a smattering of trouble locating a commonplace skin care is that it details less skin care doctors.

Body found early this morning in Vancouver field

1329893488 52 Body found early this morning in Vancouver field

Wonder if the body found could be this gentleman that went missing Jan. 2, 2012 from Omak, WA.

… Peter went missing on Monday, January 2, 2012 from Apple Springs Assisted Living facility in Omak, WA. Friends of Peter B. Greene, Missing Person with Alzheimers If you have any direct information about Pete, please call 911 or Detective Jeff Koplin at the Omak Police Department (509) 826-0383. Peter B. Greene (Pete) is my father. he went missing on Monday, January 2, 2012 from Apple Springs Assisted Living facility in Omak, WA. For the first 3 days, the Okanogan County Search… and Rescue did a complete and thorough search for him in and around the facility. there was a local media blitz, and flyers were distributed everywhere. I will post some links to these reports in another status report. Yesterday, they called off the ground search, concluding that he is “out of the area” and the Omak Police Department became the lead agency. Gossip Girl said goodbye to one of its own on Monday as Lily’s mom CeCe passed away after keeping her cancer hidden from the entire family, save for fake granddaughter Charlie/Ivy.

But CeCe’s portrayer Caroline Lagerfelt tells TVLine “there’s always a chance” she could return. after all, this is a sudsy primetime soap where anything is possibible. “One of my [Twitter] fans said, ‘but that’s not CeCe. That’s her twin sister DeDe!” the actress recalls with a laugh. “Flashbacks, ghosts, the twin sister DeDe – with Gossip Girl, you never know.”

Gossip Girl Hot Shots: Billy Baldwin is back For a [Spoiler Alert]!

For the time being, Lagerfelt has said her goodbyes and describes filming CeCe’s swan song as “sad for me and Kelly [Rutherford] because we’re really close in real life,” she explains. “She’s got the most wonderful mother, but I sort of feel like her second mom.

“The other thing I’m really, really going to miss — apart from Kelly, the kids [and] the crew — are Eric Daman’s designs,” she adds, calling the costume designer’s creations “as strong a character in the show as any of the actors.”

It was Daman who soothed Lagerfelt’s disappointment over CeCe’s mostly dialogue-free sendoff. “I was so pissed I didn’t get to crack any jokes about dry martinis,” she says. “So he got me the most fabulous earrings to wear. this is dying, Gossip Girl-style.”

But if CeCe did have the chance for some parting words, would she have outed Ivy as an imposter? Lagerfelt believes her character “might have had a inkling” in the back of her mind about her granddaughter’s true identity, “but she didn’t want to hear it. As she got sicker and sicker and Ivy was so wonderful and caring, I think she made herself believe and silenced all doubts in her brain,” she continues.

It’s another family member, however, that the actress believes will probably “change the most” in the wake of CeCe’s demise. “What her death does is it puts [Lily] in the position of the matriarch,” says Lagerfelt. “That would be very interesting to see if she picks up the baton…. I’ll be watching the show for sure! It gives Kelly’s character a lot of room to develop in new, exciting directions for the next year.”
